"Unfortunately the Hotel failed to advise us of a hotel worker strike that had been going on for several weeks. This hotel actually was closed, and we didn’t find out until we showed up at the front door. Very disappointed that the hotel did not advise of the closure. They moved us to a sister hotel, which was an acceptable alternative."

"The staff was amazing friendly and did everything they could for guests. Very good room with a good bed. Probably newly renovated bathroom, clean. Excellent value for money. The reception/ lounge was cosy with lots of space to eat own food. A very friendly homely atmosphere. I loved it and will be back. Thank you very much to the whole staff. Linda"
