"Location of the hotel was excellent, all within walking distance. The lake was outside the hotel, short walk to trains, buses and shops& cafes. Beautiful sceneries. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, even on 7th floor shower was brilliant. All the hotel staff were very helpful, friendly and responded to our queries immediately. The reception staff in particular was very very helpful. Breakfast had a good choice, the swimming pool and hot tub was clean and never crowded. I stayed with 3 teenage grandchildren and had the best time together. If we visit Montreux again this will be our choice again. Highly recommended to stay here to anyone visiting this beautiful lakeside town. We had a lovely relaxed time at the Royal Plaza hotel."

"Hotel was clean and in a very good location. We arrived pretty late after a long day of travelling so would have been nice for sofa bed to be made for children. Other than that all was pretty smooth."
