The location was excellent in the heart of Lake Bohinj territory (easy day trip to Bled from there) with so much beauty and things to explore within walking/biking distance. The hotel itself was impeccable...from the friendly and helpful wait staff, gorgeously furnished rooms, fantastic restaurant and bar with wonderful food and desserts, a great spa with excellent services to choose from, and very thoughtful and eco conscious design. "Vasja is a fabulous host, who greets visitors with a welcome drink & plenty of regional insight. The apartments are designed for big groups with multiple beds in multiple rooms. While we only stayed for 2 nights, things are set up nicely for week-long stays. Breakfasts are delicious and locally sourced. Bovec is reasonably convenient (35-40 min) to ski slopes in Italy. It’s also in the heart of beautiful natural wonders. Driving the mountain roads nearby is exhilarating."
