"We primarily stay at some version of a Marriott and of all those we’ve visited this was the nicest. Friendly staff, everything was clean and the breakfast was the best. "

"Location, location, location! The front of the hotel opens up to the river/River Walk instead of having another high rise directly across the street. It's totally convenient for walking around the city. Food was terrific. Front desk staff were not particularly friendly and there was very loud construction going on downstairs which was annoying. "
"This was our second stay at this hotel and we will probably stay here for all our future trips to Chicago. It's very conveniently located, making it very easy to get to and from Midway Airport and all the things we want to see and do in town. There are tons of great restaurants within walking distance or a short bus ride, and it's only a few minutes by bus to the museums, aquarium, and planetarium. The hotel staff are friendly and the place is very well maintained while keeping its character as a historic site. It's pretty quiet despite its location in one of the busiest areas of Chicago. We still haven't seen any evidence of haunting, which may be a plus or minus for various people lol"
