"the whole experience was fantastic, a warm welcome by all staff. we had an issue with our heating not working in our room, an attempt was made twice to repair it but unsuccessful, we went out for Dinner and was offered another room late evening, although the offer was appreciated we felt it was to late to move. all in all a very lovely hotel and we will hopefully return soon. "

"Staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable and clean. The window frames could do with some bleach. The breakfast was good. The building is amazing. It is also a comfortable walk to the centre. We really enjoyed our stay."

"The room was very clean and very quaint, but also very quiet. Room five has a lovely bathroom the only thing that very slightly let it down was the shower control isn't thermostatic so slight pressure variances from other rooms do cause the odd cold shock moment. Food is good and there's an interesting choice of beers."
