The hotel had been beautifully renovated with a modern touch, and everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The lobby featured several thoughtful touches that made it easy and enjoyable for families to spend time together. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly, and their warm hospitality made our stay even more pleasant.
We had a 1st floor room just off the main gathering area for breakfast and beyond. Our room was loud until 1:00 am and again early for breakfast. It was intolerable....
If you stay at the Vic, do not let them put you in rooms 101-106
Otherwise it was an okay stay. Very no frills but very clean.

Place was pretty clean, room was spacious and nice. Really good location. But if you stay on the first floor, it’s really noisy from the people upstairs, you can hear every step, plus some people can be really loud… smells like weed in the hallway.
Rooms were clean! There is no staff on site but they are available by text which was helpful. I did not use the guest laundry but saw others using it. Overall good stay
Best deal in TC!
A seemingly brand-new hotel, The Vic was very clean with modern decor. Self Check-in was a breeze. Rooms are spacious (we had the King Suite) and the bed is to die for!
We will definitely book here again (or maybe splurge for the Kasa Boardwalk downtown. We did some recon on that while there and it looked Amazing! Right across the street from the Thirsty Fish and a block from Front st!)
Very nice hotel and very friendly stuff!
Will come again!

Great experience, the room was very modern and very clean. The hotel was quite ay night and the mattress was memory foam, it was so comfortable. I plan on staying here again.
Staff went out of the way to take care of me. Meranda that works front desk and other things is a kind and care young lady.cleaning lady as well. As this is a place where you take care of your self as to keep rates down. Many do take advantage of this if you yourself are respectful person holistically.
This is a basic "no frills" hotel, which is all we were looking for in this stay. Minimal staff, but available if needed. No trouble getting checked in, etc. Parking on site. Suggest requesting back rooms (not facing main road.) We had no issues with traffic noise with a room facing to the back. Comfortable bed. Plenty of soft white towels. Two suggestions - didn't care for the "steeped coffee" in the room. Also, please change toilet seats to a covered seat and remove the hardwater rust stain in the toilet (Unappealing first look at the bathroom!) We would stay here again for an overnight when we aren't going to spend much time at the hotel anyway. Good value!
The property was very nice and clean. It was very beautiful and modern. The common room with the fireplace and games was very cozy and we enjoyed watching a movie and playing Clue. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Traverse City.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a no-frills nice and modern hotel that is close to the beach, dining, shopping, and recreation. There's a very nice lounge/gathering area inside with a fireplace. Our only complaint is that the AC system was loud.
