"Staff was very helpful. Rooms are small and the photos and information on Expedia is somewhat misleading. This is not a resort just a very basic hotel. "

"The location can’t be beat. Loved the beachfront view from my balcony on a high floor. Also loved the buffet dinner on Friday night (European cuisine). My only complaint is that I was unable to use the in-room safe because it was too difficult to operate."

"Breakfast was fabulous and the hotel has great amenities. The Michelin restaurants were world class but the general restaurant (1890) was ok but there was too big a difference between the quality of the restaurants. The biggest issue was the main bar where the service in the evening was very poor with a 25 min wait to get a drink. Many people were unhappy about this. Overall the hotel is very nice but be prepared for the bar.."

The staff, particularly, Jose Maria, were extremely helpful, the room was stylishly designed, the location was great, close to the beach but far enough away to be quiet, and the breakfast selection was extensive.
