"The townhome was nice. Very clean and the reception desk & staff were extremely helpful & very timely when we called. Spacious home, heated floors very cozy. The shuttle service was good however being that it’s a little out of the city it would be more convenient to have a rental car. Wonderful & relaxing family holiday. "Pros: The chalet and surrounding area were better than advertised. Right next to the ski lift and quite comfortable. Cons: Customer service was overwhelmed and made mistakes. Most frustrating was arriving at midnight to find ourselves unable to get into our room even after confirming twice the entry instructions the day prior. After 24 hours of travel, having to wait outside on a cold night until someone let us in was not fun. "

"A bit outside of the center of Grand Hirafu village but easily walkable. You have to go uphill a bit to get to the resort. The property itself is beautiful. Ideal for 6 or 7 guests (3 couples). Full kitchen but without salt/oil/spices so brine no your own if you plan to cook. Tsubara Tsubara right next door if you want amazing Japanese curry. Staff drive us back to the Chitose bus pickup on checkout. Would stay again if traveling with a small group. "
