"The comforter was soiled with hair and yellow stains. When we took the comforter off the bed, there was no top sheet. So nothing to cover ourselves while sleeping. There were no extra sheets and not even a blanket. In the bathroom there were no hand towels and just two wimpy bath towels. When we arrived there was only a 1/4 roll of toilet paper and no extra. We got there at night and were only staying for one night so no time to buy anything. The couch looked like it was from 1970 and was dirty....

"I had a great stay at West Philadelphia Modern Hotel and Suites. The room was clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The space felt fresh, quiet, and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax after a long day.

"All of the staff was friendly and helpful. When we arrived, around 11am, our room wasn't ready but they worked hard to find us a room and even gave us two vouchers for drinks at the pub downstairs. We didn't expect to get a room before 4pm, which is check in time, but they were attentive and thoughtful from the start. The room was beautiful and the location was great. We had a wonderful trip!"
