"Good location, near Honfleur. Plenty of parking available, and although I don't speak French and the member of staff on reception didn't speak much English, we managed really well! She was very friendly and we had a good stay. Nice shower, plenty of hot water and nice to have a balcony."

"When we arrived, m found our room, we were amazed at how large it was. Was. We were close to everything we wanted to do, and it was a great place to stay. At checkout we asked about getting a taxi, and we're told that taxis were nearly non-existent after covid. This is 2025. The guy running the front desk took us in his personal car down to the train station. It was great service"

"We spent 10 days at la Résidence Les embruns in September, and we loved it. It's an older property that would benefit from some renovations and updates (like a fresh coat of paint all over). That said, it's very close to the wonderful beach, and also services like a grocery store (Carrefour Market). Carole at the reception desk is a pleasure to deal with. Downtown is about one kilometre away, an easy and pleasant walk. Very recommended."

La piscine intérieur ferme à 18h30 et ouvrait le lendemain à 10h.nous avons passé 1 nuit.ont a eut notre chambre à 17h et il fallait rendre les clés le lendemain à 10h.Donc nous n’avons pas pu profiter… Nous avons beaucoup aimé le cadre qui est super agréable et l’accueil très chaleureux. "Not enough instruction. I thought it was a hotel. Because, once I have stayed in the golf. It was the hotel. No front desk, no soap, no shampoo, no tissues. At 9 pm we had to go out to buy all those. Stores were closed. If we were told those we needed to buy, we could have done it before we checked in. Then we couldn’t find bedding, if the instructions were written where we can find, it could been much easier. We spend unnecessary hours to search. "

10/10 Excellent

"Great staff, very economical, good size room with comfortable bed and nice shower/bath. Kitchen and fridge were helpful. Good views, 7th floor. Docks shopping complex, train station, canals all close by. Parking is paid underground across the street from the hotel. 10€ per day. Only downside is the Outside of hotel gets a bit trashy and dirty. Between the smokers, trash and urban outdoorsmen. Would highly recommend."

Hôtel Barrière Le Royal Deauville

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great stay at the Barriere Royal. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. As we are kosher they not only were able to heat up our food for us but picked it up for us since the establishment wouldn’t deliver. The spa was great, breakfast was delicious and expansive. It is right off the beach and walking distance to all the great shopping. The hotel does feel like it needs a refresh - much of the decor is old. Also I was disappointed to have been charged such a hefty fee to get a beach chair given that it is a beach hotel. "
