Adequate but not great

The place was nice enough, especially for the price. But it was the little things that were annoying. Such as having to pay extra for use of the pool. And for parking. Or the fact that there was only one bowl in the kitchen for four people. And that it took the staff three days to give us more bowls. Or that the kitchen was so sparsely equipped that you could hardly prepare a meal. Or that there was no dishwasher even though there was an empty cupboard in the kitchen that was obviously designed to hold one. On the plus side, the location is great and the view of the green hills from the balcony was really nice.

Arrived late afternoon after a long drive, Staff spoke reasonably good english which helped, all staff spoke and welcomed us and was attentive. Sign on car park outside the premises said was 40 euro per day parking so we parked on the road outside, when we went inside to ask if that was correct, the man said it was only 8 euros per day for residents. We paid this and parked in their secure parking area. We were disappointed to learn that there was a fee to use the pool (10 euros per hour) Room was great, looked like it was newly fitted out and had everything you would need for any stay. It was clean and furniture was comfortable especially the bed. Room overlooked the car park which was great to be able to keep an eye on my car. The view from the living room window, you was able to see the sea...all be it a small part. The room was also quiet with no noises waking us up which was great. We ordered breakfast for our last morning which cost 18euro each. To be honest, we felt that it was not worth this much and was very disappointed. The baguettes were ok but all the other bread was stale. The cold Buffet was sparse and the hot section with just hot dog sausages and cold scrambled egg. Other than breakfast, we had a good stay but if we went back I would check up on the breakfast first. Thank you.

Very clean which was great. No air-conditioning and no fans which during a heatwave made it quite unpleasant. It was absolutely not clear on booking that the pool is over 18s only. The pool was the only reason we picked this property and our 14 and 16 year old were excited to cool off in the pool, to be told they couldn't was hugely disappointing. There appears to be a restaurant but we were told it is not open in the evenings.

Beautifully clean apart-hotel

Beautifully clean apart/hotel. Rooms in newly decorated condition and facilities spotless. Friendly staff who despite our poor efforts at speaking French made every effort not to make us feel awkward. Our only criticism, and it is a minor issue, is that there was no English type tea! Rooms all had fruit flavoured teas supplied but would have been nice to have had good old English Breakfast tea too! We bought our own locally in the end so didn’t go without! Location is ideal and only a short distance to main centre where there are very good restaurants although quite limited in number and not all open for food in the evening. We used the hotel as a base to visit the Normandy beaches and it was ideal for that purpose. All in all a lovely hotel and worth a stay.

Peu après notre installation, une autre cliente est entrée dans notre appartement avec sa carte. Heureusement, elle s’est immédiatement excusée en expliquant qu’elle s’était trompée. Nous avons signalé cet incident à la réception, où l’on nous a indiqué qu’il s’agissait d’un problème de programmation des cartes. Même si la situation a été expliquée, cela ne nous a pas rassurés. L’appartement était en revanche spacieux, propre, lumineux et agréable. Le balcon donne sur un autre bâtiment avec un vis-à-vis assez marqué ; il est préférable de le savoir avant de réserver. Il n’y a ni climatisation ni ventilateur. En période de fortes chaleurs, les nuits peuvent être difficiles. Pensez également à apporter les produits de base (sel, sucre, café, huile, vinaigre…), car il n’y a rien de prévu pour cuisiner. Malgré ces quelques points, nous avons passé un agréable séjour et l’expérience est restée globalement positive.

Dejlig lejlighed med 2 store værelser med gode senge. Køkkenet var veludstyret og skøn altan. Der var lidt forvirring om vores teenagers måtte benytte poolen, så gik til stranden - 10 min gang.

Vi er en familie på 5. Rolig fint strøk. Ca 15 minutter å gå til sentrum og stranden. Det eneste minuset var litt harde senger og at det manglet aircondition! Ellers trivdes vi veldig godt.

Excellent séjour, zéro défaut ! Logement moderne, lumineux et d'une propreté irréprochable. La chambre est spacieuse avec une literie très confortable, et la salle de bain est nickel. Une cuisine super bien aménagée et un coin salon TV très sympa. Tout a fonctionné parfaitement, aucun problème à signaler. Le check in était prévu à 16h mais l’appartement étant prêt plus tôt, j’ai reçu vers 14h m’indiquant que je pouvais arriver des maintenant, au top, merci Facile d’accès, proche du centre-ville et d d’la mer, très calme. On s'y sent tout de suite très bien. Merci !

A 15/20 min de la plage et du centre ville, l'hôtel est pratique avec un parking. La Clim est dans les parties communes mais pas dans les appartements. Le petit déjeuner est top, beaucoup de choix, copieux. Très bonne adresse.
