"I would not recommend staying at El Encanto All Inclusive Resort (also known as Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences).
This was my first trip to Cabo with my sister. The restaurants, waiters, pool service, grounds, and views were absolutely 5-star. Unfortunately, our room and the customer service were 1-star.
The room was in poor condition — peeling paint, loose and corroded fixtures, cracked light switches, and ongoing toilet problems. Despite multiple trips to the front desk and promises to send maintenance, the issue was never properly fixed. We went 2½ days without a working toilet and had to use the pool washroom one night. i had to facetime my brother in law in Canada to walk us through fixing the toilet. Housekeeping issues included missing towels, being hung up on when calling, and staff entering despite our “Do Not Disturb” sign.
No compensation was offered, and our final bill included unclear daily resort fees.
