"After realizing I had booked a "1 star" hotel, we were a little hesitant with our lodging choice but were pleasantly surprise upon arrival. The room at the Kelvin was the largest we had on our 3 week trip to UK with plenty of room for luggage. There was a small desk/table and chairs and was clean and well kept. There is a bar onsite which we did not visit. The hotel is conveniently located very near to the bus/train station and town. We only stayed one night and had no real interactions with staff. Would not hesitate to recommend for someone looking at lower cost lodging."

The bed was very comfy and the room was nice and dark! We didn’t get to explore the hotel at all since we were just there overnight but we would gladly stay there again if we are lucky enuf to return to Oban. What a great little town and a great hotel experience!"
