10/10 Excellent

"Lovely new hotel. Bedroom with beautiful sea view and complimentary nice touches. A small table and chair by window would have been good and curtains let a lot of daylight in early morning but otherwise room was spot on. Disappointed that roof top bar wasn't open for majority of my stay and when it was open, it wasn't serving the food advertised on menu. Service in restaurant a bit slow and confusing around whether bar or table service and whether food available outside or not. Need more staff behind bar at peak times. Not ideal when wine arrives after you've finished food but bar staff clearly juggling table orders and walk up customers. All small things that are easily fixed and I'd stay again as hotel itself is beautiful."

"Unfortunately we had a room with a boring view of a worn roof towards the train station, even though we had chosen an upgrade. Maybe because we used earned bonus nights, I don't know. But the room was nice, good size and nicely clean. But we especially enjoyed the whole area by the bar. It was bright and airy here and had lots of good seating. Lovely breakfast buffet"

"Got my room and a great rate - didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Parking was an additional £10 for 24hrs so parked on street but parking very limited in the area. Lovely room was supposed to have a single but they gave me a double and it was a king size bed. Kettle tea and coffee etc in room and a biscuit. Shower was perfectly fine (over bath) hot evening so opened window. Room very clean. Check in straight forward."
