Checked out after 1st night

The apartment had obviously been cleaned but was run down. The blinds and window handles were broken and the sofa bed mattress was stained. Our main issue was that the apartment and whole building smelled horrendous of smoke to the extent that both mine and my children's asthma was triggered. We woke up on the 1st morning and our pyjamas smelled of smoke as did the bed covers etc. We checked out first thing in the morning and had to pay for a Travelodge. The lady who showed us in was friendly and could not have done much about the issues. Also the kitchen in the listing is not the kitchen in the apartment. Can't comment on location as we weren't there long enough.
