"Really lovely stay. It’s an old building, but the parts that have been modernised are absolutely fab. Great team and welcome from the minute I arrived to the minute I left. Evening meal was really great and the Eggs Royale at breakfast were delicious! The spa is an absolute delight! The only bit of feedback I can give for improvement is the window glazes in the spa. I think they’re meant to be jellyfish? But they’re now so faded they just look like giant stains. So maybe replace with some plain frosted vinyls to complete the classy, sophisticated vibe in there. Absolutely not a criticism, as I really can’t fault the stay I had, just meant as a constructive bit of feedback"

"We stayed 3 nights from 8th October. We enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely. The hotel is a very old hotel so obviously there are always going to be parts that need updating but overall its a Grand Hotel."

"Parking is good you can park.outsude the property free of charge. Staff friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy but compact. The shower was very small and the door was difficult to. close and open once inside It. The bed was too soft and kept moving away from the wall. The room was very hot even with the window open which made it difficult to sleep. However, the breakfast was very good. It was a buffet with my favourite tinned tomatoes an option. Also there was a proper toater"

"Had a 2 night stay, for a weekend away with the husband. Bed was comfortable, could of been a little cleaner in places. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed when the heatwave was on, and staff helped to accommodate the heat in the room by finding a portable fan for the room. Would definitely go back, as a great sociable place to stay. The bingo everynight, and shows on was alot of fun. Close to the harbour and Princess gardens. With lots of shops, pubs and restaurants around."
