Nice older hotel. It must have been a jewel in late 90's early 2000's. Elevators to north towers were out of service during my stay. I had to take old service elevator that wasn't clearly marked. My room had a king bed that was worn out. Very soft and when laying flat I would lean towards the center. I really enjoyed the main common area. Breakfast area was peaceful and attractive.

The property was great and had lots of character. The indoor courtyard was awesome. The continental breakfast held in the courtyard was wonderful. The room was clean and the water pressure was perfect. 10 out of 10 would stay there again.

Easy booking Friendly helpful staff Easy access to room much appreciated as I need a cane and can't walk long distances. The room smelled so clean..we were close to the pool and enjoyed the sound of the water and kids playing in the pool.. The free breakfast was delicious, good coffee and lots of choices to choose from..we enjoyed the atmosphere and all the different areas..especially the stairs going down to lower level. This was our 2nd time staying there. We will be back if we have to be in Topeka overnight again..

The atrium is kept up nice and is easily the shining jewel of the hotel. However, they put me in the north tower which once you leave the atrium is creepy and dirty. Floors haven't been vacuumed in a quite some time, walls are in a state of disrepair, and elevator floor was drenched in water. My mattress must have been from the original launch date of the hotel as it was incredibly uncomfortable. Oh, they also need some security on the property as I was approached by a disturbed woman in the parking lot who rambled on incoherently with racist slurs. Staff was nice, atrium is great, they just need to stop booking people in the north tower if they aren't going to update the property.

It was a quiet stay. The overhang entering the hotel is an eyesore. My friend who lives there said it was in the getto part. Sure did not look like it to me. I never felt unsafe. Just like anywhere else, don't make yourself be a target

This hotel is very convenient for downtown Topeka and is walking distance to the capitol. The free breakfast was good. My room was clean. However, the hotel is not in the best condition and the public areas including the hallways were run down and dirty. This hotel is in need of a major renovation.

This place was nothing like the photos, This place has seen better days. The elevator was out, had to use another one, which was down a yucky hallway which had an abandoned pair of pantyhose on the floor! Night one, someone across from me was locked IN their room, so that was a loud night with banging and security. Next day, I got locked out of my room. Staff were apologetic however. Gym has only two very outdated pieces of equipment. Everything looked scrappy, unkept, and was smelly.

Isaiah was amazing and accommodating. We got there at 10pm, had a Reservation but the Hotel was at full booke. The last 2 bed room was slightly Warm. He gave us a Fan we slept like babies. The Breakfast Staff were friendly and Fast. Beautiful place. It's a but Dated,but that's what adds to its charm.
