"L'ensemble est propre mais le confort n'y est pas pour la chambre que j'ai eue. Cote confort, il y beaucoup d'axe a amélioré : la salle de bain etait dans la piece d'en face, la tele etait au niveau du lit, ce qui n'est pas du tout confortable pour la regarder, la chambre est au deuxieme niveau sans ascenceur. J'aurais simplement voulu que le descriptif fasse etat de certains de ces points et choisir en toute vonnaissance de causes."

"It was absolutely an amazing experience. The beautiful country house surrounded by nature. Austin (the dog), chickens and the cats were very friendly and very smart :) The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. We had a perfect stay. "No check in whatsoever. No one in reception. You will get a VERY CONFUSING email with a code for you to go into your room. This is a hostel with shared bathrooms and toilets, not a family hotel. Don’t make the same mistake we did if you’re coming here with a family."

"In love the concept of this hotel, it being based on a surrealist novel. There are hidden quirks that relate back to the fictional owner wherever you look. It’s highly unusual, extremely comfortable & a welcome respite from the humdrum of standard corporate hotels. "

"Quite obviously an ex-Campanile hotel as a lot of the signage remains the same. The restaurant is an uninspiring open plan room next to the reception with only 3 choices of main meal. Whilst the waitress was kind and accommodating, to have run out of eggs for the omelette (the only vegetarian option) was unfortunate. Sadly, the location of the hotel makes the prospect eating elsewhere difficult. The rooms are the small balconied type you’d expect to find at Campanile. The mattresses were too firm and the accommodation is situated next to a busy road which is audible throughout the night. In short, pleasant staff but let down by a slightly run-down feel to the accommodation. "
