Motel is 20-30 min away from main beach (depending on walking speed). It was great for us, but note if you have trouble walking (since it's uphill walk from main beach) it's pretty near transit too :). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. "The hotel is under going a refurb which was probably long overdue. Our room, on check-in could have been cleaner. Dying cockroach in bathroom, bird poo all over patio furniture and dubious feel to the carpets, however, staff were brilliant. Breakfast buffet (kids eat free) definitely worth it. Wildlife galore throughout the resort which was amazing for the children. Pool absolutely freezing, everyone tried to hog the hot-tub. Lovely surroundings. Cute private beach with free activities. I expect after the makeover, it will truly be a five star resort."
