Hotel is easy to find, but parking is limited - you are likely to have to park in one of the main car parks which are 5 mins walk away down the hill.
Room was reasonable, though a bit tired looking in places.
Quite a bit of noise from the bar/restaurant downstairs.
Decent wi-fi
Food in the evening is good although only avail Thurs-Mon
Breakfast very limited and has to be pre ordered
In retrospect it would have been better to have stayed in Jindabyne, which is a more convenient location for summer walking.
Was OK, but doubt I would stay there again
We had an amazing experience staying at the Black Bear Inn. Food was excellent. We went to do the walk up to Mount Kosciusko from this destination. Overall we had an exceptional experience.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Cosy and close to everything you need.
We had a comfortable stay. The manager and staff very welcoming and sharp. We were upgraded to a big room at no extra cost, the room was supper clean and were given fresh toiletries throughout our stay. "It nerds heating in bathroom though". The food in restaurant was soo tasty and stylish and Amber is very presentable, good with people and helpful.

The manager parked us in then was very unapologetic about it.
