"We loved to stay at this spacious cabin. It was warm and cozy. Very nice bedding and it had a microwave but no TV. The view to the mountains with the snow on top was beautiful."

"The Garage is a lovely place with lovely people! My husband and I stayed here for just one night but would’ve loved to stay longer if we could. Our studio was super cozy and clean. Kitchen has everything you need to cook/prep a meal. Bathroom was neat with great shower pressure. The grounds are also pretty, with a beautiful waterfall in the background. There was a hot tub that looked nice but we didn’t end up using it, unfortunately. Anna was very welcoming and offered us slices of a delicious almond cake she had just made. We’d definitely return, highly recommend!"

"The kitchen is well stocked, and I enjoyed the free hot chocolate, tea ( and coffee). Garbage cans should be bigger in bathrooms. Usb plugs at head of every bed. Easy walk to skogafoss!"

"The property is in a very nice location, but it was kind of hard to get hold of personal at the property or even on the phone. Without the help from Expedia , we would never be able to get into our rooms."

"We booked this location last minute and didn't see the check-in email about needing a mountain bus ticket, or an atv to get to the property, until the last bus had already left. The staff, office, and Expedia were very helpful and gave us a refund for our room. We would like to come back some day and experience the volcano huts properly."

"My partner and I stayed here for one evening. It’s comfortable and convenient for travellers passing thru. It’s a good place for solo travellers and partners. Easy to find, this one almost had a bit of a hostel vibe to it. We had bunk beds. There is a communal kitchen where you can cook, a fridge where you can store your food. Shared bathrooms but there are multiple, all clean. The property is well maintained and though there wasn’t any staff to greet us, they gave us easy instructions for our check in. The area is beautiful and there is also a restaurant across the street which was convenient, cute and full of history. Thank you for the great and easy stay!"
