Some odd markings on the walls, and towels had a touch of a funny smell. Hot water pressure was extremely minimal and did have a smell which is likely the cause for the slightly smelly towels. "Wonderful host and we saw the Northern lights from the porch off our room. She even sent an email to tell us they were out. She warned us there would be no breakfast before we arrived but host baked a cake and they have great coffee machines in room and lobby."

"lovely facilities. The restaurant within the hotel is also really good to grab lunch or dinner. Breakfast is included and has a pretty good spread. The restaurant is a tiny bit shortstaffed so expect to wait a little bit but otherwise nothing to complain about the grounds are beautiful. The beds are well made, and lots of horses roaming around."

"We booked this location last minute and didn't see the check-in email about needing a mountain bus ticket, or an atv to get to the property, until the last bus had already left. The staff, office, and Expedia were very helpful and gave us a refund for our room. We would like to come back some day and experience the volcano huts properly."
