"A small but friendly hotel with a very highly recommended restaurant. I booked a single room which was perfectly suited to my needs. Parking is tight but that has to be expected in a Medieval town that was built for horses not cars. Overall a very pleasant stay. I would certainly stay again. "

"Absolutely stunning property with beautiful grounds and facilities. Food was extremely high standard and all staff very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The spa is stunning and offeres everything you need. Little slice of heaven"

"The lobby, bar, and staff were the best about the stay. Smart, clean, and very helpful. Then there's the room, very dated. It was at least clean. No carpet so noise from above and below could be heard. And the mattress definitely needed replacing, I could feel every spring."

"Dirty bathroom, rooms in need of modernisation. Wouldn’t recommend. Standard of cleanliness of rooms generally leaves a lot to be desired. Indicative of the standards is the note left by the housekeeping team….. on a notepad that had previously been soaked by an unknown liquid. Not sure what’s worse - the fact that they didn’t even notice or the fact that they did, and didn’t think it was an issue. Generally run down, wouldn’t return. "
