"If I had kids, I would probably avoid this hotel. Hotel was extremely clean, and location is obviously great and is what many are paying for. Con’s were more than I’d like for the price I paid. My biggest issue was the noise level. I stayed on a Saturday night and they had some kind of sponsored event for a tequila brand. This resulted in an EXTREMELY loud pool party, which is in the center of all of the rooms. Even with the sliding door closed, the music and bass was ridiculously loud that I could hear and feel it over the TV. Music went until 10PM. I couldn’t sleep until it was done, couldn’t even imagine if I had kids to put to sleep, no way they could sleep through that. The pool party also left the pool largely unusable for the guests. It was all taken up by their party and influencers taking photos for their brand. They had virtually the entire pool area reserved for this party, so we were barely able to sit at the pool to use what we paid for. Walking through the lobby during this party was packed with drunk people and we could barely get to the elevator. The hotel is nice and would probably be great if you’re young or a big party person, I’d probably avoid it if I had kids or valued a earlier sleep schedule. My experience could be unique, but paying 500 a night to be kept up by them renting out the pool and not even being able to use the pool area comfortably was very frustrating for me."

"Bed was too soft and pillows were too hard. There weren’t q-tips, cotton squares, or bottled water in the room. The man on duty at night-about 8:00PM was awful. He had an attitude. I want to buy a water and he asked how do I want to pay for it. I asked how much it was since prices were not listed. He said it wastes his time to tell me the price and he had been working long hours. What a shame!!! I will never stay at this hotel again."

"Rooms , decors , bathroom looks very old and boring like you are in a hotel that age. 60 years ago Santa Monica is one of the richest city the room decor carpet bathroom looks very ugly and old . "

"We were very happy with our stay at the hotel. The location is outstanding — truly one of its biggest strengths. It is within walking distance of the Santa Monica Pier, the beach, restaurants, and shops, which made our trip much more convenient and enjoyable. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout our entire stay. From check-in to daily interactions, everyone was always helpful and genuinely kind, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The room was another highlight: spacious, modern, comfortable, and very well maintained. The hotel manages to combine a contemporary style with real comfort, not just aesthetics. Everything felt functional, clean, and thoughtfully designed. As a point of attention, the hotel parking is quite expensive at $65 per night. For longer stays, this can significantly increase the overall cost of the trip. Because of that, we chose to park at a public parking garage located just half a block away, which was a much more reasonable option. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again."
