Crabtree Lake in Morrisville, North Carolina
Lake Crabtree is always the first to flood with heavy rains. But if it's dry, there are some nice trails to meander. It's right near RTP so you'll see a lot of folks eating there on their lunch break!
This is another shot from my go to location after work. This location can have some magical sunsets to offer. There are also plenty of walking trails including one that loops around the lake. The lake office also offers boats and canoes for rent.
