Gassho Village in Gero Onsen is a collection of 10 traditional grass houses moved from a UNSECO World Heritage site where they would have been flooded by a dam. On the hill overlooking the Gassho Mura is the Saijiki-no-mori, known for its cherry trees and autumn leaves in season. Check out the public hot foot baths on the way to and from the site!
