"I came to Gero on a recommendation from a close friend. I somehow missed it when I had done a previous Takayama trip and I am glad I came back. Great location for the hotel, close to everything.

"Amazing. The finest hotel and nicest staff I have ever experienced. The views are spectacular. History is right outside the door, especially the Inuyama Castle and shrines. The restaurant is five star first rate and accommodated my son’s allergies seamlessly. We arrived after one of those days and they took care of us like family. "
