The Strip Hotels near Tuscaloosa

"Summary: Place could use a bit of an upgrade. Front desk staff needs training in customer service. Would not recommend for a stay longer than 24 hours. The good: -free parking and plenty available -near to shops and restaurants in downtown tuscaloosa -near to the Riverwalk -refrigerator (albeit small) in room The less good: -rooms are not cleaned consistently. Dirty floors at check-in -room service took over 45 minutes to get food even though a call was made down to the front desk to follow up -minimal drawer space -bathroom wastecan is not lined (just ewww) -check in and front desk help was apathetic (not welcoming) -bathroom lighting needs to be brighter for real use (like putting on makeup)"

"My third year staying in this hotel. This Laquinta does not disappoint. Excellent accommodations for the price. Clean, Great Breakfast. The only criticism is that it is little hard to get to. "
