Relais Della Rovere

"We stayed here with our grown up children and their baby. The hotel was clean, well-maintained and very convenient to either drive or walk to the centre. The pool was clean and well maintained with plenty of sun beds for everyone all through the day so, happily, no one felt the need to “reserve” them. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. We also had lunch and dinner once during our stay. The food was lovely. However, one of us eats gluten-free food and, despite ordering a dish that did not list gluten as an ingredient, it did have gluten-containing decorations on it so beware of that if it would affect you. The staff replaced the dish straight away though with one that was safe to eat. We made sure that we stressed the gluten-free need after that regardless of what the menu says. Our rooms were clean and very spacious with comfortable enormous beds which the parents of the baby were very grateful for as it easily fitted all three of them with room to spare. We all had a great time and would strongly recommend it. PS take some bug spray as there are mosquitoes around"

"We arrived early and expected to wait until check in at 4pm however we were met by a delightful young man at recent that came to our car to collect our luggage and then proceed to take us to our accommodation. The accommodation was spotless and roomy we had lots of wardrobe space and room to move around. The pool was well set out into the grounds and there was plenty of sun loungers, bathing towels were provided. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of selection. The staff were always friendly and happy to bring food to your lounger. We participated in the sound bath and yoga sessions and took a massage and body peel treatment of which both were amazing and had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant. We will definitely be back if I had to comment on anything negative it would only be that the toilet flush was a little awkward at times however this did not impact our stay it was amazing all round. "Our one-week stay at this villa from the moment we arrived until the day we left, every aspect of our experience was exceptional. The highlight of our stay was the restaurants both breakfast and dinner. Without question, Every meal was outstanding, with incredible flavors, beautifully prepared dishes, and an atmosphere that made every dinner memorable. What truly set this property apart, however, was the people. The service was consistently warm, professional, and attentive. The front desk staff made us feel welcome and to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. The restaurant team provided impeccable service at every meal, and the owner was gracious, genuinely caring, and clearly passionate about creating an unforgettable guest experience. If you're looking for a place that has world-class dining, and truly exceptional hospitality, this villa is second to none. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return. "The staff was SO helpful as soon as we checked it! We got great recommendations for dinner and small towns to visit in the area. Our room had the BEST view. The pool was so nice and the breakfast buffet was perfect! We loved our morning cappuccinos and all the fresh fruit and pastries. It was especially nice to get a discount at the winery - well worth the short drive!"

"Simone', runs a great little bed and breakfast. He is always available to answer questions and offer suggestions. His breakfast setup was great and a great way for us to start our day. It is about a 8 minute walk to the town center where there are a number of restaurants."

"Simply charming. Located just a block from the Old Town and surrounded by medieval buildings, churches, and towers. Everything was perfect; the breakfast was delicious and made to order. The fruit, bread, and jams were fresh—no preservatives or pre-packaged products. The person in charge of the kitchen was very kind and attentive. The rooms were lovely, featuring antique furniture, and ours offered incredible views of the Tuscan landscape. We were treated like royalty. Furthermore, the location is perfect for visiting Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, and beautiful vineyards, all within 30 minutes. I highly recommend this hotel and am certain you won't be disappointed."
