The Meadowlands Hotels near Tampa

"This hotel was great close to the airport,and a mall is about a mile and a half but not walking distance. Isn’t much around to do you will need to uber but stores are about 2 miles awa. Bed was amazing and the shower was great. They have a restaurant downstairs which is also nice. "

"Where do I begin.. we got in late after a long drive, walked into our room and went to open the fridge door and before I could even open the fridge a roach ran out from underneath. That was upon entering the room. The next day we are gone the entire day 7 am-6 pm and come back to the room just to find that housekeeping had not been in there yet. Had the clean room button on even. We called down right away and told them no wonder they have roaches if they don’t even bother coming into the room to empty the garbage (we had ordered food) and they didn’t seem very apologetic, just acted like it was normal. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. The only positive about our stay was that the shower was spacious."

"The room was clean it is pet friendly soo you well hear a few animals at night/day time the staff that checked me in was lovely how ever I did called the night before my check in day and the gentleman that answered the phone was horrible he needs to be retrained in customer serves"

"The hotel is in a unique part of Tampa. Ybor City is nice with some amazing cigar shops and restaurants and bars. The hotel is very nice with well appointed rooms."

"TV did not work. I go to call the front desk, only to find the phone doesn't work and it's Saturday of March Madness. I walk down to the front desk and alert them of both issues, and they say they're sending someone up. 30 minutes go by, no one shows up. I go back down and inform them NO ONE has shown up. Finally a maintenance person shows up, spends an hour on it, swaps out the TV, and it still doesn't work. We give up. The next morning, the doorknob on the bathroom door falls off. We check out the next day and their compensation for all this? A $20 discount on the room. This hotel is garbage, avoid at all costs."
