Downtown Holland

Historic Downtown Holland charms visitors with its 19th-century architecture and brick-paved streets. The area celebrates its Dutch roots through cultural attractions like the Tulip Time Festival and European-inspired buildings. Windmill Island and the Holland Museum offer glimpses into the area's unique heritage. Stroll along the walkable 8th Street corridor lined with specialty shops and breweries. Hope College campus adds youthful energy to this cultural district. Seasonal street performers and outdoor concerts create a lively atmosphere throughout the warmer months.

Holland Historic District

Holland Historic District showcases beautifully preserved 19th-century Dutch-influenced architecture and cultural heritage. Centennial Park provides peaceful green space where carillon bells ring from nearby churches.

Holland State Park's expansive sandy beaches invite swimming and sunbathing. The neighborhood offers excellent outdoor recreation with scenic hiking trails through Mt. Pisgah's dunes. Summer days bring sailing on turquoise waters and evening bonfires on the beach. Nearby Holland provides additional dining and shopping options when you need them.

Waukazoo Woods

Waukazoo Woods offers a peaceful retreat along Lake Macatawa's scenic shoreline. Tree-lined streets wind through this residential haven where mature hardwoods create cathedral-like canopies. Private docks dot the waterfront while spacious homes blend with the natural landscape. This quiet neighborhood showcases authentic lakefront living away from tourist crowds. The area's charm comes from its natural beauty rather than commercial attractions. Crystal-clear waters invite swimming, kayaking, and fishing from private access points. Holland's downtown amenities are just a short drive away. Visitors seeking tranquility will appreciate the gentle sounds of rustling leaves and lapping waves that define this serene woodland community.

Maplewood

"Hotel is well located and the room was clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is ample and convenient. Coffee available 24 hours is a nice touch, and breakfast was good. The air conditioning worked well, though we found it necessary to keep it set above 65°F to stay comfortable. The property is starting to show its age and could use some updates. Even though the room was clean, I would recommend a good steam cleaning of the carpets. Overall a solid stay with friendly service, but a bit of refreshing would take it to the next level."

"The hotel was new, staff were friendly, breakfast was amazing & amenities were plenty. We stayed here for 4 nights and the room was extremely clean. Spacious and had thoughtful kitchen details. The cleaning staff cleaned our room so well mid point that it felt like home away from home & that we were cared for like family. We enjoyed the pool, gym and social hour on Wednesday night and sat by the fire each night with tea as we relaxed out of our room. Thank you for being a hotel people can trust in!"
