Trash! don’t stay here unless you love the smell and look of water damage. Walked in the room and noticed a very weird smell that would absolutely be noticed by staff but clearly they didn’t care. If this wasn’t enough I was woken up before 6am to the sound of water dripping on side the walls and leaking into the shower. Yes, the dirt and mold from the wall spilled into the bathroom, making the smell worse. Paying for the room felt like an insult. I should have stayed at the $60 days inn down the road.TLDR, bad smell, dirty and moldy. Zero stars, this will be my last stay at a double tree from here on out. This also fails the cover the lack of any amities beyond two of the saddest looking hotel restaurants I’ve ever seen, like old folks type place. F**k this place.
The rooms floor was wet as was the floor to the balcony which overlooked the pool. The room also smelled so badly of mildew and chlorine. The hot tub had a thick grimy film on it and the pool wasn't any better. We couldn't get the door to our room to work correctly either. The lounge had ZERO food on a Saturday, and they purposefully did not have the "restaurant" open. The cafe for breakfast was pathetic. It took forever for our food to come out and even though we paid close to $20 a person to be able to order what we wanted for breakfast, we did in fact NOT get what we wanted for breakfast. They had eggs toast and sausage or bacon and you better just be happy with that. The parking lot had ice patches that my disabled husband fell on. Overall it was so not worth the money.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
For a newly remodeled room it was awful
Stains in the shower area large gabs in door frames
Crumbs on the floor by the bed
Entry doors would slam loudly
Had an issue with my Keys not working
And the staff was very unresponsive and after
4 times going to the front desk they finally got me
In the Room
The room was great. Clean plenty of towels. We did have to ask for body wash as our bottle was empty.
Pool could have been better. There was a day where there were no towels globs of spit or something floating on top of the water. And the pool was cold it could have used a bit of heat.
Disappointed that the bar area was closed. One of the perks we were counting on.
Rude staff said water in room was free got charged for the bottle water two biscuit and gravy it was canned gravy biscuits was nasty 4 biscuits for 36 dollars it came with egg and we asked to substitute the egg with sausage never got it by this time we was so disappointed was there 3 days not good food
I would not stay at this Doubletree Hilton hotel again. I typically stay at hotels that cost between $150 - $200 per night. Given that price range my experience at this hotel was of a sub $100 room, and I have seen them try to book around $300 per night. It's obvious this hotel at one time was very popular and useful but the room I received was in severe need of renovation. The wall paper was peeling, the floor and base was worn out, the couch was worn and stained, the toilet was not mounted to the floor, it moved around and did not flush all the way, the grout in the restroom looks 20 years old and grimy. The room backs up to the pool so being the room did not have proper ventilation it smells of strong chlorine and you can hear the echo of the pool in your room through the thin glass door. And the glass door was so thin and beat up it barely opened and closed. The hallways smell musty and you can see some are filled with junk. It looks like the hotel's been under renovation for quite a while and most of it was a ghost town on an otherwise busy Saturday night in town during the beginning of fall. The lower lobby bar is closed and dismantled, the upstairs restaurant is closed, there is no continental breakfast of any kind, but a poor looking paid breakfast restaurant with-out proper staffing. We had a very disappointing stay and the hotel makes me think Hilton is not worth the upcharge at all.
The hotel is under construction for renovations. Lobby closed, plastic on the windows, some parts done, other parts not.
Even with that aside, the hotel itself has a very strange layout making it tricky to find your way around.
The bathroom was the smallest hotel bathroom I have ever seen. They had a rolling barn door because there was no way a regular door would work. While the bathroom was remodeled, the shower floor was stained or just looked gross.

The staff was extremely friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the exterior was being "redone" so when we returned to the hotel after being out for the day, the closest parking lot to the entry was closed. We had to enter on a lower level, and the elevator was malfunctioning, with a warning light and buzzer on. We reported this to the desk, but it was till not working in the morning. So, we had to carry our luggage several floors down.

Disliked: Amenities
Restaurant was closed, bar was closed, carpet was disgusting and loose, room was musty, shower head was loose and spraying out of shower, bathtub drain stopper did not work, toilet seat was loose, fridge door would not close because it needed to be defrosted, pillows were beyond used and very uncomfortable, and could not charge phones reliably because outlets were loose, front desk staff not welcoming and seemed lost. Breakfast staff was very friendly and did a great at job, pool was excellent.

Location is good, property and lobby furniture are so old and look dirty
Lots of potential. Nice hotel in sketchy neighborhood. Parking too far for convenient. The decor is very dated, bed lumpy and poor support, no USB charging ports in room. Staff was great, coffee excellent. Enjoyed our stay. Better bed, updated room would have earned 6 stars
