"The property is amazing!! Couldn’t recommend it enough. Our room had an issue and they change the room straight away. The breakfast and restaurant is amazing. The food is fresh and tasty. You have to have a treatment at the spa, it is mind blowing. The pool area is clean and tidy too."

"Slightly dated in areas like the bathroom but overall we really enjoyed our stay. We had parking, it was in a great location, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. It was a good stay for the whole family. We had breakfast and dinner there which were both enjoyable. Overall we would recommend. "

"Great hotel in a great location, right by the water and a short walking distance to all the restaurants at the marina. Parking right at the hotel as well. Rooms are lovely, staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good - will be staying here again next time we are in Knysna."

"We had a fantastic stay at Moonshine! From the moment we arrived, Carol made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, with great attention to detail that really made the experience special. We are visiting South Africa for the first time from Canada on the Garden Route and Carol’s space reminded us of a home away from home. Our 3 kids absolutely loved the pool, the bunk beds, and the hike, it made the trip even more memorable for our whole family. The atmosphere was relaxing and exactly what we were looking for, and Carol was always helpful, responsive, and genuinely warm. You can tell a lot of care has gone into creating a great guest experience. We truly enjoyed our time and would absolutely recommend Moonshine to anyone looking for a memorable stay.
