"Property clean , rooms had everything , chose one with view , was a bit extra , view top of shard . Plenty tea and coffee in room.
Breakfast good , as expected for 4 star hotel , usual faire .
On the minus side , breakfast tables were not cleared , we arrived about 9.30 and were shown to a clean table , but by 10 /10.30 all tables either occupied or had dirty dishes , even saw one guest clearing their own and piling on table next to them . Cooked food was frequently topped up but other areas neglected, had to scrape last remaining cubes of watermelon and pineapple from the bowls .
Another point to note is only usbc points available in rooms , probably not an issue for most but I had only brought a usb charging cable so could only charge phone sitting in reception
So on the whole good stay , with couple of areas could improve, decent value for money for a London hotel if you can get some discount on standard rates ."
