The Hotel Portsmouth
10/10 Excellent
"A beautifully renovated boutique hotel with a charming throw-back Americana theme that perfectly complements this historic coastal town. Convenient parking and just a short walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Plenty of Instagram-worthy photo spots. Ideal for a summer getaway or weekend retreat. Recommend.

"Clean, quiet, family friendly. Perfect location for those looking to stay just on the edge of town and off main or shore street crowds. But still a short walk from anything and everything - even Perkins Cove! However, if kids or older adults, a trolly or golf cart might be a better option for the hike to Perkins. Resort had everything we needed and then some. Could stand some minor updates and a full list of everything included with stay (we didn’t know bikes were available to us until check out), but those are very small complaints. We loved our stay, hated having to leave and can’t wait to return! "
Port Inn and Suites Portsmouth, Ascend Hotel Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good and had many options. Everything was well maintained. Furniture was nice and decor was cute. Lobby/breakfast area was "out of a magazine". Location was perfect and very easy to find. "
"This was a very convenient place to stay while visiting Portsmouth. There was some traffic noise, which is to be expected in a city, but not enough to be annoying or interrupt sleeping. The hotel was clean and well kept, the staff were all friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again."
