"Love the inn is so close to the river, very lovely view and walk along it. Excellent food served at the inn and all the staff were very friendly during our stay. The door to our room was a bit stiff and hard to get into, and the bathroom ceiling was a bit mouldy, but other than that the stay was so wonderful and we would definitely come back again."
"Great place to stay for a getaway to the cotswold with a glimpse of relax as well. The staff is very helpful, the dining options great and also the spa is really good! Definitely worth a stay!"

Excellent
The town of Tewkesbury is very pretty and a visit to the Abbey and museum is a must, as well as experiecing the battle trail. There are lots of places to stop and have a drink and a bite to eat and there is a lovely high street. We loved it

As horse racing people who like to watch sport with a pint, we found The Anchor & The Nottingham Arms very friendly pubs. Chinese restaurant, The Great Wall, was excellent & Avonside Private Hire (Taxis) gave great friendly service to the races.

Marvellous little town packed with history plenty of places to eat and if you're a pub fan lots of friendly little bars and do check out the Bear a few doors away from the hotel-it was closed for years being refurbed... but just look at the result.

There is a really good brewery (Inferno) at the White Bear (not Black Bear) about 5 minutes walk from the town centre. It's only open Thursday to Sunday but is well worth a visit.

The Black Bear pub was a two minute walk and had open fire with live music on. Lovely setting and good vibes.
"Absolutely gorgeous hotel and I can't believe I got it for the price I did. I stayed alone on business mid week and the facilities were brilliant.
A high standard Spa with a beautiful view out of the windows, decent sized gym (although it opened quite late at 7am, not the best when you have an early start - 6am would be perfect) and I even treated myself to a late evening massage (Emily was great).
The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, and the staff were all very polite and helpful.
I'd be staying much more often if the price was that achievable mid week (circa £120)."

"We were visiting to attend a party and as we had plenty of notice decided to splash out on the best room.
It was huge - I could hardly see my wife on the other side! We loved the 4 poster bed (also huge) and the classy period furnture.
The bathroom was well apointed and everything worked well. The automatic lightsvareva good idea, and my wife enjoyed the bath.
The only minor issue wss with yhe windows which are secondary glazed for the winter, but some of the glazing was broken, which made the room quite hot in the summer. However, if we go back to Tewkesbury again, I suspect that we'll have to book this room again.
Breakfast was good with top quality local produce."
"Lovely hotel and garden very nice place, good hotel room, good location, parking on site. Friendly and helpful reception staff and friendly helpful bar staff! The breakfast team gave good service each morning.
What more as a guest do you need and want!
