"Great room with a view of the abbey opposite. Weather was shocking so ate in the pub (well, more of a restaurant) great food. Service was excellent. Had a minor issue which was resolved in a thoughtful way. Menu excellent for GF and Vegans (clearly marked). One of the best rooms, and with dinner £200 or thereabouts. Parking out back. Genuinely high recommendation."

Access to the pool and various spa activities was a good addition as well. Lovely place and well recommeded, will deffinetely stay again. "

For a one night stay with smallish children it was perfect, both room and menu, and even down to the little booklet to keep young ones occupied. Oh, and great beer too. Oh, and an EV charging point. "A very charming and remodelled village hotel with an excellent restaurant - locals and travelers alike are welcome. Chef creates new dishes depending the daily food availability - mostly local - organic and fresh. Room was very nice, clean and had a new wonderful bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast made to order plus smaller buffet for yoghurt, juices, cereals. We would come back anytime."
