"Breakfast spread was good and waiting staff are very friendly. Was able to get an extended checkout but have to pay half rate. For some reasons, housekeeping did not provide me with a floor mat after each cleaning. The pump for the shower gel is not really working and was not replaced. Small issues. "

"Room was comfortable (twin beds) though windows needed cleaning and no longer open (screwed down), large TV ok with a very limited set of Astro Satellite channels. Small fridge but it did not have an ice box so you need to ring down to have ice sent up. Room service includes a scaled down version of the 4th floor restaurant menu. Pool with bar on the 4th floor too also serves the same food. Draught Guinness (500ml pints) was very good with view of the river and China town area. Underground parking good and connected to the shopping mall in the same building so it can be busy. Staff were helpful and smiley. Close to the main river waterfront area as the name suggests but also close to bars and restaurants in side streets. Only downside was being close to open areas where festivals sometimes mean noisy music in the mornings. Overall not bad."

"Well placed hotel for walking to many places in Kuching. The complimentary breakfast is Spartan but there are many eateries for breakfast close by. Nice pool."

"The professionalism of the staff aligned with the quality of the property and delicious room service menu choices; top-notch! There was some construction going on that we only barely heard once for about 10 minutes. Bonus: my family of three where two of us have wheelchair needs, we found the food court, spa services and convenience store on the property to be very comfortable and convenient. We plan to visit frequently just to order take out from their devine chef and his signature cheese and fries! "

"Too old building"

"This was a cabin in the rainforest, so in the thick of nature. Sadly for us, it rained during our whole stay. I think its an amazing location for getting away and seeing wildlife on your doorstep. There are on resort things that you can pay for like bat walk, kayaking, high ropes and boat trips. There are also self guided trails. I think if you are staying longer than a few days, you may run out of activities. I also thought the boat trip was a bit pricey considering others we had been on in Malaysia. The staff were friendly and answered all concerns. There is no Wifi in the cabins and even our eSIMs struggled with reception. The rooms could do with a few more amenities like hooks, iron, hairdryer, more sockets and wifi. The fridge and kettle were welcome. The breakfast was lovely with a variety and changed daily. You can order a meal or even to your cabin from the restaurant, but we wanted a few more options. They also do yummy milkshakes. The restaurant is a lovely place to relax as there is wildlife around and you are practically on the beach. It also had Wifi. You can get laundry done, but it needs to be requested - no option to do yourself. There is a small shop at reception, but not well stocked and seemed musty. The 'second' beach really needs better steps sorted so you can get to it safely. We didn't use the jungle pool - my kids were very suspicious. City centre is 1 hr drive & Grabs don't come I loved this resort, but a few improvements could be even better!"

"Super relaxing stay at the culvert. There were a few minor quibbles like I wish the food options were more varied and with more vegetables! And there was such a small amount of storage for our items - I wasn’t expecting lots but a few books would have helped. That aside, it was honestly such a relaxing comfortable environment with great facilities and super friendly staff. Easy access to the Damai area with Kampung Budaya Sarawak and the food court, and not too far to Kuching. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others."

"like..easy food access downstairs.. dont like..room too hot 😥..aircon duct from outside does not make the room cooler esp during this hot season...room walls no soundproof u can hear people f..king n talking next door..😱😲management should do profer soundproof nextime.."
