"Basic but clean and comfortable, decent value for the price. Each apartment is 2-bed so kitchen and bathroom are only shared with one other guest room. Was upgraded from single to a double for no extra charge. The people upstairs were up all night but that could happen anywhere."

"The general condition of the hotel is poor, old, tired and a bit scruffy. The rooms just about fit the bill, but the bathrooms are very small. The general condition of the hotel is not good, the corridors are grotty and the floor is uneven. The staff are hit n miss, the cleaning ladies were friendly enough the night shift staff were completely incompetent, and don't expect room service, I had to order in a pizza!! "Arrived and the first room we had hadn’t been cleaned - they managed to find us another room but that one was also a bit dingy around the edges. It’s a basic hotel option, right by the white water course (Teeside). Breakfast at the restaurant next door was great. Appreciated the easy and free parking availability."
