Top Tavolara Island Hotel Reviews

Luna Lughente
8/10 Good
"We loved Luna Lughente! The vibe is kind of retro and the suites we had were beautiful, comfortable, and very spacious. A beautiful view of the pool and Mountains that we will never forget. The included free breakfast was great every morning and our most adored part is the beach. The section of beach Pittulongu that belongs to the hotel is fantastic and we can’t wait to go back!"

Hotel Stefania Boutique Hotel by the Beach
8/10 Good
"First of all, the hotel is not beach front…. It is beach access from a side street. You are given a free pass for only one day for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. After that, the daily cost is 25 euro. Staff were very kind and willing to assist in any way. The breakfast was very good but did not change day to day. It was pretty much the same every day. There is no evening night life at this hotel. No bands, music etc. Guests gather around the pool nightly for cocktails with a view of the restaurant “Ninos”. A bit uncomfortable if you’re the ones having dinner. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean with very comfortable beds but small showers. There are mini coffee makers in the room but not in the lobby and you are charged 3 euro for water in your fridge. My recommendations, rent a car, you are then free to explore the island. Stop at the supermercato for munchies and water. We bought an umbrella for 15 euro and bought a blanket. Overall a nice stay but Pittolungo is a very quiet area at night. Perfect if you’re looking for quiet downtime with no crowds or loud music."

Hotel dP Olbia - Sardinia
8/10 Good
"Staff were lovely and the room was clean and well kept. Food is okay not much choice, same every night with a couple different choices each day. Breakfast is the same everyday and leaves a little to be desired. Hotel is in the middle of no where, lovely Mountain View’s and nature but opposite a dilapidated shopping centre which is a bit of an eye sore. Only shops near by that are open are a pharmacy and a petrol station, which are quite handy. It is recommended to rent a car but bus stops are right outside, however they do not run past 8. Ubers are also very expensive for short trips. Beautiful beaches are only an 5 minute bus journey away and even quicker by car, town is about 10 minutes. Overall I’d recommend staying here for a few nights, you get what you pay for!"

Cala Cuncheddi - VRetreats
10/10 Excellent
"The property was lovely and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were on the smaller side but big enough and we had a sea view with a balcony which was gabulous. My favorite was the private beach which was beautiful with chairs and umbrellas without extra charge. We ate at all 3 restaurants and food was great! Only downside is it is isolated and taxis are impossible to get and expensive you definitely need to rent a car."

Baglioni Resort Sardinia - The Leading Hotels of the World
10/10 Excellent
"Baglioni Resort Sardinia is the perfect luxury retreat for anyone looking to relax and unwind. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome and right at home, with warm, attentive service that continued throughout our stay. The rooms are beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and offer every comfort you could ask for. The resort itself is immaculately maintained, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere that’s perfect for a Sardinian escape."
