We stayed for 4 nights in early January and were very well treated by all the friendly staff. The room was clean and well maintained, and breakfast was decent and we could even order our eggs from the kitchen. The hot water in the shower worked well and did not have to wait for it to warm up. It is one hotel we would return to if we are back in Tavira.

One of the best hotels in Algarve! A 600 year old convent converted hotel, yet it has all amenities and convenience a modern hotel has to offer. Good variety of breakfast. Room is spacious, bright and airy. Staff are friendly and helpful! A short walk to the Main Street where visitors can find Pharmacies, restaurants and boutiques. The hotel is at foot of the Castle of Tavira, public parking is limited, but the hotel has its own gated parking area, which is a huge plus for us.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It was our first stay at a Pousada and it will definitely not be our last. We were given an upgrade to a suite on arrival which made our stay even better. The staff are all very friendly and efficient - first class level of service.
