Excellent hotel with friendly staff

I was pleasantly surprised by everything at the Golden club hotel. I'd been slightly worried by some reviews before we arrived but i can honestly say our stay in August was excellent. It's a great 3 star hotel. All the staff were brilliant, my children went to kids club on our last 2 days and loved it, huge thanks to Junior, Andre, Pedro and Vinny, especially Junior who took my daughter under his wing and Pedro who entertained my son. The pool was huge and the only one in the world that actually had free loungers at almost any time of the day! The boat over to the beach was fun and the beach nice, with warmer water than the west coast. The room was a cheaper room, sunrise, and was spacious, well equipt and very clean. Plenty of hot water for showers and cleaners came every other day and did a wonderful job. I can only assume that people are expecting far more than they paid for, hand on heart, this is a great find.

L'hôtel en lui même est plutôt sympathique avec une option piscine couverte, hammam, spa et sauna agréable en hors saison d'été. Le personnel est accueillant. D'un autre côté l'offre de restauration n'est pas très bonne, choix restreint sûr le petit déjeuner et dîner et la qualité des produits proposés est médiocre. La literie de notre chambre été vétuste... Nous avons déjà vu bien mieux dans un 4*.

Have stayed here 5 times only because there are not many options in Cabanas but each year the apartments look shabby no maintenance updates at all The bathroom tiles are cracked the cleaners do the best they can In March there are no facilities open just a basic cafe no entertainment you hardly see staff around The grounds are clean and tidy though

Grand appartement avec 2 chambres et 2 pieces d’eau. Tout equiper. L exposition plein sud est top en hiver. Beau balcon. Le moins, le manque de ventillation dans les pieces fait qu il u a de la condensation en hiver sur les fenetres et mouille le carrelage. Idem pout la salle de bain pas de vmc ( juste ventillation haute et basse . Pas de chauffage dans les salles de bain en hiver c est froid

Très bon séjour

Tout est parfait, on avait un réservé un appart hôtel très propre et fonctionnel pour 5 personnes avec vue sur le Rio Famosa En octobre, il y a quand même des animations la journée et le soir, ce qui est vraiment agréable. A l'accueil tout est très bien expliqué et reformulé. Seul Bémol personne ne parle français ou espagnol (en tout cas les 2 personnes à notre arrivée) et quand on est pas fort en anglais ça peut être compliqué. Divers espace de parking autour des bâtiments ce qui est appréciable. Nous avons été déçu de la proposition des plats le soir, on a rien trouvé de très local et souvent répétitif. Et en réservant le petit dej il faut choisir de perdre le petit déjeuner non remboursé ou de s'abstenir de voir les dauphins (même avec leur partenaire).

A proximité d'une immense et très belle plage accessible en navette gratuite depuis l'hôtel. Equipe d'animation très sympathique, piscine intérieure avec sauna agréable pour la periode d'octobre. Des rénovations et entretiens concernant les logements seraient à prendre en compte avec quelques traces d'humidités. La personne de l'accueil du restaurant est très agréable et devrait communiquer son sourire à lensemble du personnel.

L hôtel est très agréable et propre. Les 3 piscines et l animation sont très bien. Les buffets sont variés et satisfaisants. La réception du restaurant est parfaite grâce à l employée qui accueille toujours avec un mot gentil et un sourire agréable. Par contre, il y a un manque d amabilité des serveurs (très discrets cependant) et du personnel en circulation dans l hôtel. Peu d entre eux saluent les clients. L anglais est de mise. Le français n est que peu parlé même à la réception malheureusement. L accès à la belle plage se fait par bateau navette.

If you are planning a stay where you plan to cook , you better stock up on oven mittens, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, and a kitchen towel. Also while you go shopping for all that , buy some soap,shampoo , conditioner and lotion and beach towels and if you want a good sleep buy some pillows. They suck!! We got 3 towels for a family of 3 so if you plan going at the beach you are stuck . Oh and the buffet ..powered eggs and canned fruit . Enjoy!

Appartement bien équipé, propre....malheureusement beaucoup de moustiques, prévoir des anti moustiques . Au restaurant ,la nourriture est varié et bonne. A la plage , océan propre et frais, le sable est propre , dommage pas de douche , ainsi que les chaises longues de l'hôtel payantes pour tous le monde (y compris les résidents de l'hôtel) .

This is a complex not hotel and be prepared to accept this. Everything is scattered across , bar, dining, pools etc. The nice part is clearly the beach reached by free boat. The complex is dated, noisy with doors clunking, beds being dragged across tiled floors, in fact cleaning staff do this exceptionally well so no lie in. Off season so maintenance going on adding to noise and inconvenience. 4 night stay was plenty but not a place I’d recommend for any longer.

It was off season but still had options for where to eat, shop, and to go sightsee. The taxi company they use are good and reasonably priced for when the buses weren't available. The staff were super helpful and helped me make the most of my stay. I really enjoyed it and plan to return there in the future.

Late Break

We have been here in the past, as it is nice and peaceful this time of the year yet climate still hot and sunny. Entertainment and bar still going strong to end of October. You can walk to the train station & get to town 1euro something or visit other resorts off the same line- boat taxi ( free) to the beach which is first class - Depends what you are looking for - hustle & bustle or peace & quiet- well run large site would be great for the kids if they where not in school 🙂.
