"The staff was very helpful. We have had trouble using the laundry, He came over from the hotel next door ( seemed like he worked for both hotels) to help us for a few times. The downside was the laundry facilities were too pricey, A we $16 all together."

"This hotel is not easily spotted from the street; however, once inside, I find the room clean, warm and cozy. There were plenty of parking and the made to order breakfast was excellent."

"Our stay was a highlight of our 8 day trip to the South Island. The room was clean. The heated floor was a very nice touch. The shower was generous in size. The restaurant staff were friendly. Our only complaint was that the check in process was lengthy as there was only one staff member on the desk - he needed some help!!"

Nice menu. Locality - very close to town centre, restaurants, cafe’s, gas station Summary - nice place to stay. Sadly the double bed had a hump in the middle which was a bit uncomfortable. Overall - recommended!"

"Lovely cosy and comfortable unit and very convenient to eateries and public transport. Very helpful staff."

"While we did not use the kitchen it did look fully equipped. Lots of storage in the bathroom and the bed and pillow options were good. Lovely view from the room that would have benefitted from clearer skies. Beamish the black lab was a joy as was watching the chickens running around the property. Can defnitely recommend."
