"Kudos to the proprietor, Mr. Fernando was very kind and accommodating to every query. Breakfast set of fruits, sandwich/bread, etc. was so delicious.The place is safe, have a privacy and peaceful, away from noise since it is located in a relatively remote. "Our stay at Lifu Garden Inn was fantastic. The host is so kind and helpful. We arrived low on gas and they helped us fill up from a local nearby since the gas station there is not yet completed. The drive up to Lifu is incredible. What an amazing place to live. The restaurants are about 3 min up the road and are all delicious and the views are unbelievable with the fog rolling around on the mountains. Breakfast was great and the resident kitty, "mouse" was a sweetheart. We would absolutely stay...

"The staff and amenities at the Cho Hotel stand out. Located in the busy district of Ximen, the hotel is beautifully decorated with plenty of vintage old school charm, there's free snacks and ramen in the lounge and the staff are super helpful with tips and recommendations. The rooms are not particularly big but that's to be expected in a hotel in the middle of the Taipei. Nevertheless, they were modern, clean, and the bathroom/shower was easily as big as the rest of the room! Really enjoyed our stay here, convenient to food options, attractions and public transportation. Lovely stay."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westgate Hotel in Ximending, Taipei. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the MRT/subway station, surrounded by endless dining options, massage parlours, and within easy walking distance to everything in Ximending.
We booked the Executive Suite since we were traveling with four large suitcases, and the room was adequately spacious, clean, and comfortable. The standout, however, was the exceptional service—from the warm welcome at the front desk to the attentive staff in the restaurant, everyone was polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.
Our room included daily complimentary breakfast, offering a great selection of both Western and local dishes. The food was fresh, delicious, and well-presented—though it can get crowded at peak times.
Overall, Westgate Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Taipei. Highly recommended for both location and hospitality."
