"This was our first all inclusive. Buffet was impressive, lots of variety & kids loved endless Pina Coladas & ice cream. Shows in the evenings were a nice surprise and kids club events every day! We had trouble finding some of the posted events like Pilates class. Kids pools and areas have lots to do and everything is very clean and well taken care of. It was hard to find a quiet relaxing vibe. Wasn’t impressed with the beach area, got kicked out of some chairs in the only swimming part of the ocean, “Akumal guests only”. We had no idea! Just felt confused a lot, had trouble finding the buffet the first night after flying all day, they wouldnt let my kid in having swimsuit on. (I understand, but we literally had just shown up & didn’t know.) All the pools close at 6pm and there is no hot tub. "

"Our was clean and updated. We have an amount of preferred time which was bigger and more private than those on the ocean side. The property was beautiful. Not very accessible for those in a wheelchair or a scooter. The staff were great. We did have different experiences with staff at different restaurants. "

"Great property! As a vegetarian, food became a concern. The resort though is accommodating. "

"No beach to walk or ocean to swim in. The staff tells you everything you want hear and then they don’t do anything thing they said they would do. Paid for “VIP” and definitely was not shown that. Also!! The Big one they told me on 2 different days that we did not pay. I had to argue with them for about an hour even with proof. It took a second manager to settle it and then when we checked out they said we did not pay again. Also, they told me they might not our driver I to pick us up, that we would have to walk to the road. Lucky for us they let him in. "
