Family friendly Hotels in Tamarin, Rivière Noire District

"Stayed for 4 nights at end of 3 week stay visiting nearby family. The resort, rooms and restaurants are all very good and we had a lovely relaxing stay. The grounds are extremely well kept and our daughters loved taking part in all the available activities. We stayed in a garden bungalow adjacent rooms on all inclusive package. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping daily was appreciated. The resort is large and spread out so might not be suitable if you dont like walking but this did not bother us. Only minor suggestion we would make is to have organised the Wolmar dining tables better so we didnt have to wait for tables 2 nights. We would happily come and stay again in the future."

"From the gate security staff to every single staff at the resort I have come across have been very welcoming and ready to help. I went there first time for a day package and had a nice day. So I booked for one night half board stay and I don’t regret it. Although the bad weather we had a nice time. Next time I am in Mauritius, definitely it will be Tamassa again. "

"Absolutely amazing time we have spent at St Regis Le Morne Resort. The resort is beautiful, quiet and very clean. Our room 493 was amazing suite with an ocean view and a terrace. The food is great we ate at the 4 of the 5 restaurants except the Indya and food was delicious and very high quality! The staff make us feel like we are home ,everyone was so kind and polite. Our favorites are Aroumel at the pool ,she was always great with us with her big smile everytime .Also we liked Veronne from the breakfast she always got us on our favorite table next to the pool ! Our driver Nadin also very nice and polite person and the taxi driver Rajoo who took us to the Port Louis and the La Vanille park and waited for us when we were there. I wanted to say big thank you to the whole St Regis La Morne team and we cant wait to be back next time with our kids! Thank you! "

"The staff were just amazing from Hassain who greeted us to Bianca and Mannie in the celebrations team. The executive chef Saurab and Varuna, Joshua, and the Manager all have helped create what is the best holiday and memories. This place is paradise and the staff"

"The location is safe and private. To reach the central shopping district, there is a convenient water taxi that transports passengers from the hotel to the waterfront. From the waterfront, you can walk to the busy city center and explore."

"A beautiful quiet location, we were able to relax which was the purpose of our trip. Staff were amazing, friendly and did everything they could for you. Pools were kept clean and plenty of loungers there and on the beach. Only negative is price of taxis to get anywhere but that is no reflection on the hotel. Would highly recommend "
