The hospitality at Aanari was exceptional! From the first hello to Bon voyage the staff were extremely accommodating. Early check in, late check out, extra tea do the room, help with appliances, providing early breakfasts and snacks for day trips! They went above and beyond. The hotel is seconds away from the beach, and best sunset location. A lovely pool with sunloungers, the food buffet was generous. I would highly recommend and revisit

Friendly staff especially on the beach. Great food options. Clean rooms and comfy beds. What let this place down was water and electric cuts. I have been to other islands and countries which are not as developed and they have back up generators reserves of water. The other issue was the club which did not serve local rum, only beer and wine included within the all inclusive. I was here for a friend's wedding as we're c.50 others from the UK and with other areas serving local rum on the complex as part of the all inclusive and even being told on the hotel tour I was baffled why the club did not serve rum which seems a little stupid.

Overall good quality of staff, breakfast, cleaning. Disappointed about the sundbeds at the beach They were supposed to be out on monday-friday but were often cancelled without any informaion to the guests claiming that it was a public holiday or just to many people on the beach to put them out.

If you are looking for a budget holiday and are not expecting a 5 star menu about the variety or quality of food on offer then you’ll be fine. The overall look and feel of the reception/bar/ restaurant are was pleasant, clean with good service, although I found some of the ‘no local’ waiting staff preferred to service a minority vs majority as being a solo female traveler. The room was a good standard for a 3 star hotel although cleanliness could have been a better standard. Spa was very nice and unexpected. Pool are was small but very tranquil and again above what you would expect of a 3 star hotel. Value for money I would recommend this hotel and I would return to stay again.

The property is dated and needs modernising. Shower heads spray everywhere, shower curtains mildew, and safety rail in bath hanging off the wall. Having said that, the hotel is in a great place across the road from Flic en Flac beach, and the staff were all very friendly and professional (especially Hans, Avi, Victor, and the overworked bar staff!). You can book tours etc thru the front desk very easily and there is a supermarket and ATMs all within 100m of the hotel. Awkward systems like ordering drinks and waiting for them to arrive (or not arrive) and then having to wait to sign 2 pieces of paper to assign the bill to your room! The bar staff were so friendly but run off their feet while waiters stood around. Buffet food was good and there was a variety of different things each night - simple fare. Loved our stay - recommend if you don’t mind a dated facility.

Wonderful 2-week stay at Aanari Hotel. My room was clean and spacious and had a walk-in shower. The room was equipped with everything I needed including shower gel, shampoo, hand wash, towels, fridge, air con, and tea making facility. Beach towels are changed at reception. I slept beautifully on the large king-sized bed which was very comfortable. The staff really made my holiday - special thank you to Hans Sumputh the Manager and Rikesh the restaurant waiter for your highly efficient service and your genuine care, attention and hospitality. Thank you to the reception for all your assistance; also to the chef for all the good variety of tasty food we enjoyed and the room cleaner for keeping my room immaculate. Breakfast was plentiful and included scrambled eggs and so much freshly cut tropical fruits. The sega entertainment on Mauritian themed night was lovely. The location was ideal with Flic-en-Flac beach opposite and Carrefour supermarket next door. It has a spa and an outdoor swimming pool which I didn’t have time to use as I preferred the beach and had a hired car to visit all over the island. Free parking was provided on-site behind the hotel. The price was very affordable for half board. This hotel is a gem and I cannot recommend it highly enough for exceeding my expectations. I will definitely come back.

We were shown so much care, kindness and attention throughout our stay. Every team member: reception, admin, restaurant, kitchen, maintenance and cleaning were consistently friendly, helpful and professional. They worked hard and always had a smile on and enquired about our experience each time. The location was perfect: just a five‑minute walk to a beautiful part of the Flic en Flac lagoon, ideal for early‑morning swims and snorkelling. Breakfast was varied and generous, with cooked options, pastries, breads, cheeses and plenty of tropical fruits, plus extras like boiled eggs, pancakes and omelettes. Dinner changed nightly with cultural themes; I especially enjoyed the vegetables, salads, calamari and desserts. A few small improvements would help: boiling water at breakfast for tea, better coffee and water jugs at dinner. Rooms were cleaned daily, towels and beach towels replaced and the shower had good water pressure. Tea‑making facilities and a small fridge in the room were very convenient. The free carpark and on‑site gym were great bonuses. Good Wi‑Fi throughout and fun Sega dancing during the week added to the experience.
