"My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! "
"Solid business Hotel for a stay in ishigaki. It's away from the main area so is a 10-15 min walk to restaurants etc but is v quiet. Room is clean and has all the amenities except a shower curtain which I thought a bit strange. No carpet either but total fine with that. For some reason the TV decided to turn on by itself at 6am this morning which was a rude awakening but other than that all good. "
"Great location and accommodating to foreigners. Worth booking if you are looking for a "apartment hotel" with a kitchen and space to do your own thing. Imagine the space and number of beds would be a great benefit for larger groups. Bear in mind there is no check in staff to assist unless directly requested. "Have been in Ishigaki for 6 times, Miyahira Hotel did surprise me on the location, amenities and room condition. I stayed at the new building with balcony, which works perfectly well for divers - to dry our gear. Location is quiet and just stone throw to bus terminals for airport transfer.
Breakfast is the top in town, from variety and quality perspectives. You can enjoy Blue Seal ice-cream there. They also offer free coffee everyday until 5pm with paper cups to facilitate take away.
Next time, I will stay in Miyahira. "

"The staff were great. The room was really small and stuffed full of furniture so not a lot of extra space. The bed was really hard and there were only two pillows on the bed, with no extra ones.

The only thing we were very disappointed in was the poor level of English in the reception area. It was painful and at times impossible to inquire about anything. They have a service app that was helpful with most things but when it wasn’t working or it wasn’t a simple matter and you have to go through reception it is very difficult. "
