"A beautiful, modern property in an oceanfront setting. Many of the rooms offer fantastic ocean views, and the hotel is conveniently close to plenty of great local seafood restaurants. Other than that, there is nothing much nearby (meaning no convenience stores, snack places, etc...). The front desk, pool, and facilities teams were warm and helpful throughout our stay. "Wow, wow, wow… Our experience here was nothing short of perfection. The hotel itself is gorgeous, private and has every amenity you might need. The location is perfect, far enough from town, but not so far that you are out of reach. The hotel is close to the tourist shuttle bus stop and you can easily get around without a car or scooter. "明德水庫旁原先的教師會館，重新裝潢。優點：面湖位置絕佳、房間大且有木質地板、被子輕軟又保暖，很舒服。缺點：1.淋浴的熱水要留很久才會熱，盆浴的則是再久也只到溫溫的，等放完水也冷掉了，無法泡澡；2.入住當晚住房率很低，館方也不願意讓我們稍提前入住。 非屬館方：明德水庫環湖公路目前施工無法完整通行，沒有公告，館方也不知。我們走到一半只好掉頭(雖然景色也不怎麼樣)。雖然會館看出區的湖景很好，但明德水庫留宿觀光做不起來，因果相扣形成循環，蠻可惜的。倒過來說，附近留宿觀光不發達所以晚上蠻安靜的，適合喜歡安靜放空的人。"
