There was drilling, hammering and construction noise on all of 4 days of our stay. The drilling on our first evening for 45 minutes, and hammering noise every morning starting at 7:45 am. Then on our last day, we had a large water leak from the ceiling into the entry hallway to our room, leaving a huge puddle of water. I called the front desk and they immediately sent engineers to our room, followed by cleaning staff. Regarding the construction noise, the hotel tried to minimize after we called the front desk. They also provided some accomodations after we called the front desk, handling it satisfactorily. Service was excellent.

Amazing hotel in a great location! Definitely recommend getting a Taipei 101 view room for that iconic view. Hotel has an amazing pool area and the view from the breakfast restaurant at the top of the building is awesome. The location almost on top of the City Hall MRT station makes this a great place to get around the city from. Only minor gripe is that the breakfast selection is a little small - we've been to other W hotels which had a wider selection.
